Why is my mom mad at me for not adding her?

So my mom got a facebook like a month ago so she could keep up with our family members better, and advertise for her job. She added me and my younger sister as friends yesterday when she just started randomly using it again.... My sister added her but i didn't because i think it would be a weird place for mother and daughter relationtions... and i explained all that to her when she called me angry a couple minutes ago. She got all defensive and said that i had something to hide, so i gave in and said i would add her, then she said she didn't care if i did anymore because she would delete me, because she didn't want to be someone's friend if they didn't want her. I don't know what to do someone help please?!! I still want to add her to make her happy but it's so weird. >.<
 
it is weird but add her any way. if you do that then its up to the other person to decide whether they want you. if not then you can say you have done it
 
lol. i blocked my mom. i just overwhelmed my mom by making a bunch of accounts on twitter myspace and stuff to distract and intimidate. sry that doesnt solve ur problem but thats what i did.
