Why is Obama vacationing in Maine when he told tourists they need to continue

visiting the gulf? You can't count his one or two photo ops down there by his lonesome a few weeks ago. He was in and out within hours not sticking around to spend tourist dollars there.

Obama is the king of "do as I say not as I do" right?
 
It kinda depends on which side of his mouth he's talking through .......... just do the opposite of whatever he say's and you should be okay .
 
"Do as I say, not as I do" comes very naturally to liberals. They can do it without conscious effort.
 
Yeah, visit the Gulf! Where the pristine sandy beaches contain a whopping 221 PPM of oil, well beyond the guidelines for toxicity. Yumm!!

But don't worry, the oil will reach Maine.
 
He can vacation anywhere he wants. Maybe his family wanted to be somewhere where they could have a little privacy to keep the kids out of the spotlight. Maybe he wants to visit the great state of Maine. You are making an issue out of a non-issue. Bush took his vacations in Texas when New York City was in rubble. He took his vacations in Texas when our soldiers were dying in Iraq and Afghanistan. So what? Bush also took his vacations in Texas when the Gulf was in trouble last time. Again, who cares? Let them take their vacations wherever they choose. Maine also needs tourist dollars.
 
When the president visits, for security reasons they shut down whole areas to the public. So it would be disadvantage to want the president there. That is why he went to Maine.
