I suppose it is because a few weeks ago Obama warned us of "catastrophe" and total financial ruin if he didn't get right on that economy. He needed a rush order with that economy. health care and so on. Now just a few weeks later all is so well that he can now hit the campaign trail and appear on celebrity tv. hmmm, he is the village idiot. Let's not focus on what Bush did, He is out of office. We won't get ahead if we spend all our time in the past. Obama made some points on Leno though with his "special olympics" joke. I guess the doom and gloom must be over and the president can "let his hair down" now and enjoy the finer things. He needs to get on that economy like he promised and maybe even fill some of those appointments he can't seem to fill or keep filled. The treasury would be a good place to start. He only has one position out of 17 filled and that is Geithner . I guess Obama is so good he can now run with just a skeleton crew.
