Why is symbian outdated??5stars for good answer?

why people say symbian is outdated is symbian is it because it uses c++ language and qt?pls give a good answer dont say it is slow and u.i is outdated,stephen elop effect.coz today only i compared two of my friends galaxy ace and nokia 701. 701 simply outclass ace in every dept. U.i is really cool,also phone is very fast and smooth,even internet browser with flash support is bettef than android.
 
Symbian doesn't have the app availability that iOS, Android and even Blackberry do. Yes the UI DOES look like it's from the 90's. You can't say don't say that! That SEVERELY hurts it with most people. If you were buying a car, would you buy one that you think is hideous just because it gets you from A to B? NOPE! Looks are first impressions. Sybian has some nice features and gets the job done, but if they don't get better app availability and bring that UI into current times, it won't be around for long, that's fact.
