Why is the Government suing Roger Clements?

The only thing they have is one persons word. No DNA, no evidence, no nothing! Is this just another distraction and a total waste of their time and our money?
But his trainer must have had something to gain by saying this. There still is not any proof only hearsay.
How can they determine him to be credible if was doing these injections to many players. So why attack Roger?
OKAY-PRESSING CRIMINAL CHARGES!! WHY??
Is this going to solve our jobs problem or create the economu to grow. Is this really what they need to focus on?
 
You mean waste of "our time" & "our money", remember that they work for us, the time they invest performing their job is "our time".

They are suing Clements for once doing what naturally comes to them, (DC POLITICIANS) lying. I wonder who will have the longest nose when they get through.

Arent they bringing him up on charges that he lied? But my question is, "why does that government get involved in whether a baseball player uses performing enhancing drugs or not"? Isnt that an issue between the player and the league?
 
The gov't isn't suing him, but rather charging him criminally for lying to Congress. Suing is a civil action, while charging someone with a crime is a criminal action.

And they are doing this on the sworn tesimony of his trainer who appears to be credible
