Martial arts school didn't deliver a product which I purchased. Can I get my money

back? I signed up for a Karate class for my 7 years old son in a local martial arts academy. Few weeks later, the academy distributed a flyer about the need of purchasing a personal sparring gear. They said it'll be required as the kids will be prepared to advance into sparring skills and this is required for protection and for schools' liability insurance. The cost was about $185 for the full set. It sounded a little bit pricy, but paid for it for the purpose they explained. They said they will order it and we should receive it within a week or two.

Few weeks have passed and I didn't get it, I inquired but they said that they're still waiting for all the parents to pay then can place an order for the whole class's supply at once. Two months have passed and didn't get anything, by talking to other parents individually, I realized that nobody have bought it since everyone explained that he/she was not financially ready at that time but they're planning to as soon as they can . Also, one mother told me that she mentioned to them that she already has a set but they told her she still has to buy it from them for liability purposes and they can not guarantee any product purchased outside their school. I decided to wait two or three more weeks but realized that still no other parent has purchased it and I was the only person.

I then asked for my money back since they failed to deliver it timely and nobody else has purchased it and therefore the classes will be held without it. The academy said they will get "my" sparring gear on next class since their money refund policy is only valid within "three days" of purchase and now it's close to four months!

How good if they brought a sparring gear only for "me" (regardless to the brand), it will still be useless under these circumstances. I acted reasonably within the scope they explained (safety, protection for kids sparring classes, etc.) and will end up with a product that is no longer needed or stuck with their refund policy!!

I'm very frustrated! My question: can I get my money back under these circumstances? How?

the rights of the Christian people? Egypt - no building of Churches, certainly harassing of preachers. Outright persecution of some Churches.
Syria - the same and more.
Iran - any different? They even have a "religious police".
Arabia - you can not wear a necklace and a crucifix. No churches, no gospel teaching.
The list goes on and on. Remember the Mohamed cartoon in Denmark, and the person they assassinated in Holland? The word "assassin" comes from Islam.

Would it be Ok to build a Nazi Memorial at Ground Zero? Why not?

Because it is hurtful and profitable for NOTHING.

Christ would never condone the action, so please, do not associate the "christian people" with such an unguided and foolish action.

It's not the right thing to do, it's a political media stunt. This guy just wants attention and I'm afraid that the reaction from Muslims is going to have many people killed (soldiers, children, vacationers, etc...) because the extremist Muslims are too sensitive when it comes to freedom of speech and religion.

I'm going to go to this Quran burning and take pictures of all the people participating. I will then develop the film and place those pictures on the graves of men and women killed in the reactionary period following the Quran burning.

The reason is that this is America. It was built on a foundation of freedom and tolerance. Why should we do what the middle east fails to do? Because we are one notch above them.

What other nations and or people do has no relevance to what Western democracies should value.

They are building a mall - a shrine to the Western religion of materialism - on ground zero itself.
