Why is your religion and/or god more credible than Scientology?

counselor_de - you seem to misunderstand what Scientology is...it has nothing to do with Science.
 
It's because the crazy people that wrote their books did it a long time ago instead of a recent sci-fi writer(I mean prophet).
 
Because my particular religious choice continues to successfully prove itself to me and serve my personal needs. It can be dated back to Pre-Christian times, it's not just some latter-day philosophy people come up with. It's made its mark in history and is widely practiced, widely successful.
 
Because it's free in all aspects: free of cost, free of dogma, free of BS, and free of harm.
 
you're talking about the same Scientology that was invented by a science fiction writer?
 
Because dam near ANYTHING is more credible than L. Ron Hubbard: a failed science fiction writer who, as a joke, thought he'd invent a scam resembling a S.F./religion so it'd be tax-exempt.
 
Because it doesn't involve being infected with psychic remnants of political dissidents who were chained to volcanoes and blown up by nuclear weapons thousands of years ago by a galactic overlord named Xenu.
