Why isnt bittorrent (just downloaded) not downloading any faster than a

regular download.? after reading about torrents, i thought to myself " Wow, cant waite to download movies super fast" but they are downloading at the normal speed i download anything else. about 350-400 kb/s. im downloading very popular movies too with thousands of seeds and stuff.
 
You are still bottlenecked by your Internet Service Provider (at&t, FIOS, those companies). If you got a faster plan, you could probably download faster, but in all probability regular downloads will still be as fast as well seeded torrents.
