why isn't my torrent downloading?

I have utorrent downloaded, when i download a torrent it automatically goes into utorrent but does not download. The seeds says none are connected 0 (10). It also says that the torrent is inactive but i can not click the "start button." I know the fewer the seeds the longer it will take to download but is there something i need to do or change to initiate the torrent?
 
Everything you did sounds right. They should start working automatically but if there are no seeds, there's pretty much nothing you can do except find a different torrent. You can keep it in the utorrent window and if any of the seeds come online it should start downloading automatically.
 
Try to install ARES its a free software & best for torrents download .
 
my u torrent isnot working properly when i add a torrent it remains 0.0%
