why my Smasung Blue ray player BD 1400, turns off after 10 min?

I have a Smasung Blue ray player BD 1400, and I turn it on and it plays movies for 10 min, then turns off. I turn it back on and it starts over, and repeats the process. Whats the problem? this started when i updated the sofware. Please Help!
