Why were the Tea Party people complaining about the GOVERNMENT transit system

in Washington? Should we have ANY government massive transit in our new SMALL government we are going to sweep into power the next 4 years. Drive or walk, right? So, where does the CONSTITUTION SPECIFICALLY SAY that the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES has any responsibility to provide for mass transit systems in our cities.

They were complaining last week at the Tea Party rally. That is your source if you need a link to look it up.
 
Rachel Maddows just made fun of the Tea Party for this... I hate her.

In my opinion, a private business could create a much more efficient mass transit system than the government ever could. Even though the Tea Parties may have used them to protest, they understand that private mass transit would be FAR superior to the public mass transit that we have.
 
Transit like that is generally relegated to state government. However DC is not a state. Also that subway is used by federal officials. So in this particular case it is a federal government system.
Which means our federal tax dollars pay for it.
I really dont understand the protest about it im just pointing out that this particular mass transit pretty much has to be what it is.
