I had a DVD burner in my computer it went bad so I got a replacement one and for the life of me I cant make it work. My computer is a HP Compaq with 4.6 Ghz processor, 2 Gigs of RAM and running XP Pro and the burner is Sony Optiarc AD-5170S and not matter what I do I get a Code 19 error. If you know why or how to fix PLEASE HELP. (Code 19 comes up as "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.") I didn't erase anything or what have you this code came up as soon as I hooked it up.
