Why YSR cremated in a Christian way?

Yesterday from TV channels it happened to know that YSR's body will be cremated following Christian rituals? Why? Were he hand his family adopted Christianity in between?! Any one has an answer?

because he is a christian.
his grandfathers/parents converted to christianity during the british rule. they were landlords at the time(reddys) and were given hundreds of acres of land to convert.

Well generally the funeral rites are determined by the family so I guess the answer is that whoever is in charge of the affair must be Christian.
