I recently acquired a new Garmin GLO because I bought an iPad 2 with wifi only a couple years back for school. Anyway, needless to say, I really wanted GPS capability both in my cockpit AND on the road. There are plenty of aviation apps that are compatible with GLO. HOWEVER, I have yet to find a road navigation app that will recognize my GLO device. Copilot app (for roads) says that it isnt receiving any GPS signal even though my iPad had no trouble tethering itself to the GLO, so anytime Im on the road, out of range of any wifi, I still don't have any navigational capabilities beyond looking at my predownloaded maps.
So my question is, are there ANY free/cheap road navigation apps that will recognize an external blue tooth gps device (Garmin's GLO specifically)? The device is very accurate, if any app would recognize it.
