Will a fish die if you feed it Tylenol?

When my school was on a band trip to myrtle beach this year, my boyfriend dropped a Tylenol pill into the water, and it was eaten by a catfish. Since then, he and I have been arguing over whether the fish died or not. Do you think the pill would be enough to kill the fish?

It depends how big the fish is. But either way, I've never come across a question so... strange, so I may not have the right information, but I'm sad to say that your fish will probably not endure the tylenol. Human medicine is for humans for a reason -- and giving your fish medicine for humans is like giving a baby 30 pounds of the same medicine. It's an overdose, and besides, many of the ingredients could be poisonous to the fish.
The best you can do is hope. I'm sorry to tell you this.
