I'm trying to build a computer of my own and I am rather new to putting one together from scrap. I'm on a budget of about $350. My uses for it will be casual gaming and student.

I will buy 2 of the RAM cards.

Am I missing anything? Do I need a network card?
I would also like, but not required, to be able to upgrade it to better graphics/processors/RAM along the way.
I understand for a RAM upgrade I would just buy 2 more 1GB sticks.
Title is wrong... I always type something then decide on a better sentence, but forget to delete the previous typing...
I'm trying to get a monitor from a family member and would like to know if you have any better suggestions for a certain part.
