Will Bluetooth work in a foreign country?

I was thinking about buying the beats pill Bluetooth speakers for summer when I am going out of USA to Bangladesh with my parents. I won't have service there so I was wondering the music I have in my phone's SD card, will it work there? Will I be able to play music from my phone to the pill even if I don't have service?
