Will I lose weight with this diet and exercise regiment ?

I am in the extremely obese category (I am 67 inches and weight 238lbs) and I am working to lose the weight in a healthy way. This is what I am doing and eating, do you think it will work, or do you have any more suggestions.

I wake up at 5:00AM and am out the door to run/walk by 5:30. I run a little and walk a little (my goal is to run the entire time). The route I take is exactly 2 miles and I do this 5 times a week (in general I have been lazy on the weekends).

I get home and I make a smoothie. I use frozen berries I buy from costco (6 calories per 1 cup, I use 2 cups). I mix the smoothie with an energy supplement (25 calories per scoop and I use only 1 scoop) and water. This is both my breakfast and lunch.

Mid afternoon I will have a snack of some sort. It is either a 100 calorie pack of popcorn, sliced mushrooms (no dressing), or a fiber bar (140 calories per bar and I only have 1 bar).

For dinner I usually have a grilled chicken breast (no skin or bones) with a salad (lite ranch dressing), or a beef product (also grilled). I am trying to get into fish product but my kids don't like fish nor does my roommate. For a side dish we will have veggies, or rice (I know not healthy but I don't eat much of it).

I sometimes do strength training (push ups, sit ups, lunges, ect) in the evening, but not as much as I should.

I also drink water during the day. I get in at least 40oz, but working on getting up to at least 72oz as the summer months come on.

Am I doing what I should be doing, if not what am I doing wrong. This is a fairly new regement for me, but I am sticking to it. I have not stepped on the scale yet to see if I have lost weight (going to do that Wed when I go to my nutrition class).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
