Will i need an amp for my subwoofer? For My home theatre system?

I have AN-801 Affinity Speaker System. Do i need an amp to go with it and what more do i need if its not just the amp?I says i need an amp but it didn't come with it. This is my first home theatre system. It came with A center speaker, 2 left speakers, 2 right speakers and a subwoofer. The subwoofer can only take two speakers so what do i need to make all of it work. Thanks for helping

On the website it says it comes with a (900 Watt Amplified 10" Subwoofer ) Every home system i have ever seen has a amp built into the subwoofer box.
