Will it cost money if T-mobile and Verzion Wireless call each other?

Hi! i been calliing my friend from out of state. And i been wondering does it cost money...if i called him? he said he have unlimited minutes. Also..after nine..is it free to call any state with any phone company..like for example..T-mobile to verzion?

Its depending if you have unlimited calls. if you dont, like if you have rollover minutes or something like that where you dont have unlimited calls, they would charge you if you have a T- mobile talking to verizon wireless. It will be free if a T mobile talks to a T mobil, and free if a verizon wireless talking to another verizon wireless, but in that case, NO IT WILL CHARGE YOU!
