I have a Rev xp, and the battery died because my brother is an idiot. I have a battery charger, but its a 12 volt. If I put it on trickle charge even for a few minutes, will it still wreck my battery? My Recoil is messed as well.
if the snowmobile is 12 volt it wont hurt.count the cells on top.if its 12 volt,there will be 6 cells.if its 6 volt,there will be 3 cells,and the 12 volt charger most likely will not charge it.
Most small engine electric starter use a 12 volt system. Your charger will not "wreck" your battery. A trickle charge should be done for about 6 - 8 hours. If you are wanting to start it sooner, use the 6 amp charge for an hour or 2.
