the car is a 2004 pontiac grand am se2. I'm guessing the reason the abs/brake light is on is due to a wheel speed sensor located by the front wheel bearing. ( the socket/cord is unplugged but my speedo. still works) well i checked everything else and when i press the cruise control button on the steering wheel the light illuminates on the steering wheel but not on the dash. When i engage cruise control and i let go of the accelerator the car decelerates. Is this because the sensor is not plugged by the front wheel hub bearings or is there another reason
