Will the GHWT drum kit for PS2 work with a PS3?

I might get a PS3 in the future and am hoping to get Guitar Hero Metallica for it. I do not want to re-buy the entire band package. Will the PS2 drum kit for Guitar Hero: World Tour work with Guitar Hero Metallica. Also, is there any way to make a PS2 guitar work with a PS3. Thanks for the help!
 
Same Promblem

I recently got a PS3 and have the same idea as yourself. I am fairly sure you can buy a PS2 to USB adaptor so that controllers for the PS2 will work on PS3 but im not sure if it would work for the guitar, and as the drums and the mic are both USB i am hoping they will work on the PS3 also
