I've heard that the Australian government has been talking about more taxes on cigarettes so that the price of cigarettes in Australia will increase to an estimated $20 per packet. As a smoker I obviously want to quit. My question is will the drug companies follow suit by increasing the cost of nicotine replacement therapies because of an increased demand?
