Will the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4g work on T-Mobile 4g network?

I know you can unlock the Xperia play for T-Mobile. I'm just wondering if I use the internet on the Xperia Play will it use T-Mobile 4G Network or at least the 3G Networks.

If it does not use 3G/4G and it uses 2G/Edge Network, can I still use wifi at my house to say at least use it for video chat? How fast or slow is 2G/Edge network? (Can I at least use it for web browsing or at least download apps.)

No because AT&T uses the 850/1900 band for 3G and 4G and T-Mobile uses 1700/2100 band for 3G and 4G so you'll only get 2G ( Edge/GPRS)
