Will the Super AMOLED screen in the Samsung Fascinate degrade quickly over time?

On Wikipedia, I read that the screen will degrade: "The organic materials used in AMOLED displays are prone to degradation over a period of time. However, technology has not been developed to compensate for material degradation," is what it says. Will this happen on that phone, and what will it do? I cant find much on it.
