Will themes and apps for Blackberry OS 6 work on OS 7?

I know OS 6 phones are not upgradable to OS 7 but can i for example use themes made for OS 6 on OS 7 like BB Bold 9900?
 
probably not, but it would depend on the theme, some themes may be compatible with both. as for apps they'd be more compatible than themes, but there could be a few apps which might not work the same.
