The receiver says it can power up to 4 speakers, or in this case 2 speakers and a sub. But the description says 550W x 2 @ 4ohms". 550 should be okay for the sub, but why does it say x2 not x4, and would 550w also be the power going to the speakers? They'll probably be 100w or 200w. Also, will I be able to set the sub output to 4 ohms and the speaker outputs to 8 ohms or whatever they end up being?
It seems like a lot could go wrong, but I thought they might be compatible...
