Will virtumonde still effect my pc if the internet connection has been removed?

My computer has been infected a while ago with virtumonde. I have disconnected my computer from my router and was wondering if the spyware/trojan will continue to damage my pc without an internet connection? i dont really need internet access on this pc, i only really want it to play sims, as i no longer have the original Cd for it so i cannot reinstall it on my laptop without rebuying it. So would it be okay to play Sims on my computer still without making anything worse?

It would be a shame to have to stay offline because of malware that is easily removed. I would imagine that there is more than that infection on there and if you would like instructions and help then email me.
Your computer will continue to deteriorate with the infections you have so it would be better to remove the infections.
