Windows 7 "lnk" file format.. shortcut problem ?!?!?

so here's the problem
all the sortcuts in my desktop opens with Microsoft Word
Example
i have games like Counter Strike in my laptop
but when you open Counter Strike Microsoft word opens it
i need help immediately, i need to play Counter Strike normally that it runs the way it was
I miss the shooting the online tournaments etc. but when you Open\Run\Double Click counter strike
microsoft word opens it!!?!?! i need to run the game the way it was normally
PLEASE REPLY ASAP
