WIndows Gadget copy from old to new computer?

hey, i recentle had to do a format and new install of my computer, but i had about 8 gadjets on my old one, so i coppied the files Windows sidebar>gadgets onto another hard drive, I have since copied and pasted that file back into the location but i dont see the gadgets when i right click on desktop and go to gadgets, how do i add them?
