Hi, I'm planning a one month visit to Canada later this year. I want a mobile phone on me as I make my way through the country. I'll spend most of my time in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and British Columbia. The main purpose is to access internet, receive calls, receive texts and make an odd call.
Which services and plans will be the best for these purposes?
Is it possible to get a phone up and running off the shelf, if so where can I get them?
I have a Nokia N79 which works on the GSM bands in Canada, can I continue using it by replacing the sim card?
Any information will be of great help. I've checked Rogers and Bell plans but couldn't make sense of the plans.
Thank you.
