I believe wolf hunting is wrong- why do people hunt wolves? Is it just for fun or is there a part of it that they use? Because taking the lives of animals isn't fun, cows and fish are animals that God gave us for food, wolves- he gave us companions[or gave us to breed down to dogs]Those animals spend their whole life trying to save themselves and their families, and when people just shoot something and laugh at it, it's life has just ended, and all it's life work as just been wasted. Anyone agree?

I'm completely against it, but I'm against all hunting.

God didn't give us cows & fish as food. He gave us the garden of eden.

Why do they do it? Because wolves kill the cows that you eat and the deer that others choose to kill. So, you kill the wolf to have the pleasure of killing the cow/deer.

I am fine with hunting for population control and/or food. (I grew up on game meat, and I occasionally go hunting myself.) I'm not so keen on trophy hunting.

As far as the religious aspect goes:
"Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything." -Genesis 9:3

Just because in western culture we see canines as human companions, that doesn't mean all cultures do. Some cultures eat dogs. And in western culture it's common to eat beef, but Hindus would find that appalling.
