working with P90X and bench press?

i have the P90X program and have used it for a few days..I also have a bench press which i would like to include use of during chest workouts.. is there a suitable time to use it during the workout? and should i spread the sets of bench press throughout the workout, or jump to bench press during the workout and do my number of sets all at once?

i usually just do my sets of bench before the chest workout, i do the warm up pause it 3 sets of bench for 5-7, then do the chest and back workout!
