Please don't look up the answer and give those who want to guess a shot - I don't give best answer to the person who looks it up so why waste the time?

add: see i am wrong. but there has never been a World Series where any Hall of Famers played - only futures

I'm gonna guess that it was the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies. Here's my guess for the 7 Hall of Famers:

Jim Palmer
Eddie Murray
Cal Ripken Jr.
Steve Carlton
Mike Schmidt
Tony Perez
Joe Morgan

Was I right? I guessed.
