Little fin my oranda got stuck under his bridge yesterday.
I was looking around for him and I couldn't see him anywhere.
So, i turned the filter off (for only a second) and listened because I swore I heard gravel moving.
When I found him, he was trapped under his bridge.
I removed the bridge (that's going in a Minnow tank now) and checked over Little fin. His left fin is deformed so I wasn't worried about that. What I was worried about was his right fin, it is completely damaged and he isn't swimming properly, also his tail and dorsal fin are a little torn up.
He doesn't seem fussed, but I can tell he isn't swimming well. And he doesn't seem stressed. Should I worry?
I was just going to add some fin rot preventative and keep an eye on him until his fins grow back. I know his calico and blue colourings may not come back, but is his the best thing I can do?
He lives in his own 55 gallon tank, with a nice slow double filtration to accommodate his poorly fin.
