Would a honda civic fit my requirements?

I found a 2002 Honda Civic EX coupe. It's an automatic transmission with 120,000 miles on it. How reliable is the transmission? Should I be concerned about the high mileage? It averages over 20,000 miles a year. How are repair costs for this car? Will my car last me about 5 years if I plan to keep up with maintenance? How's the pick up and go in this car? How is it on insurance? Please help answer these questions. Thanks
