Would anyone else rather spend christmas alone with a DVD than with their family?

That's what i plan to do. I hate my family - always trying to make me prove i am good enough for them and cross examining me with stupid questions.

Ok maybe my family sucks more than most families but yea im just not into it. I plan to get a dog to keep me company for the future - yep cause dogs know how to give you unconditional love and my famly doesnt. Xmas with my family is hell depressing.

Anyone else rather do that than spend the day with them?
I dont see xmas as being special
 
Christmas is way overrated and people only like it because they get presents. Everyone i spoke to hates this time of year. It's hectic and hard to buy presents for so many ppl and it empties your wallet faster than you can open it. It's not even celebrated under religion anymore (my friends are atheists) BUT i wont speak for all.
Anyway, yes it is more appealing to watch a dvd.
 
Instead of DVD marathon on that special day, why not volunteer to some homeless families that you know. For sure they lack the luxury of spending Christmas with food, and gifts. You can always prepare some gifts for them, simple things like wrapped cookies =) This will mean a lot for them and they will never forget someone spend their Christmas with them giving something for them =) Try this: http://www.yeolesweets.com/
 
Yikes. I can understand that you wouldn't want to spend it with them if they are that bad, but you could spend it with someone else. Friends? Boyfriend or husband or something? Or maybe you could go out to watch a movie? Sorry, it just doesn't sound like fun to me to be stuck inside on such a special day... but it's your decision!
