Would drinking alcohol once every 2 weeks harm my fitness?

If I was to drink say 11 units every 2 weeks would this affect my sports performance drastically?I dont smoke.
 
In one go? No, no and no. Spreading your units out (1 or 2 a day) is fine. In fact a small amount of alcohol a day is good for you. My granddad is 87 and he has a tipple every day.
 
as long as you hydrate after your drinking you will be fine. Of course no alcohol is best but every two weeks will not effect you much at all.
 
My school had this big movie to show us about sport performance and alcohol. It said that even a little alcohol can affect your athletic ability..however, less alcohol affects less, and vice vera. Long story short, yes..it affects you..even just a little bit.
 
I have 11 units every 2 days and my sports performance is unaffected. So I think the answer must be No.
