ya its not that bad, i think the motor mounts are in the same place and everything should be the same, i think the even use the same size block for both a 305 and a 350 but im not sure, maybe some times they do and some times they don't, i have a 350 in my 98 chevy silverado and i love it, my old truck had a 305 and im just glad i have a 350 now
 
everything is the same. u will prolly have to change your intake. 350 is the way to go for small blocks. i have on in my elcamino.
