I played the cello for 5 years starting when i was in 3rd grade. I haven't played it for about 8 years because I moved to a new country and couldn't afford lessons. So now I want to buy a new cello and reteach myself. Has anyone ever done this? What were the challenges you've encountered? i was very good at it and i'm wondering if after such a long break I could come back to that level and get better? Answers from cellists and teachers would be very appreciated. Thank you
