stations need re-programming? If not, which sorts can be turned off with out re-programming?

Thanks.

No I wouldn't expect to find that necessary, but can't answer the last bit of the question. My TV went off when all the electrics went down. When on again all was in place. Same with a cheap radio I have. Thankfully.

Radio stations arent programmed into radios, if its one of those radios that remembers your favourites and it loses them then just fix it but when you choose a station it actually changes what frequency to pick up, therefore stations are not programmed into the radio.

I wouldn't expect so as there would either be a back up battery or the system would have a re-programmable memory which could only be re-set manually.

(ie. try unplugging your TV, does it lose its stations?)
