If so where will you (or where did you) go?

:]

My fiance and I are doing that for our honeymoon because we don't have much money. We are going on a 7 day mexican cruise i'm so excited! :]
That is only at certain ports we've already checked it out. We can't afford anything else because we are getting a blacony suite room and it's only like $399 per person. Everything else is over $1,000 per person
We really wanted to go to Hawaii but everyone kept telling us it rains a lot there throughout june-july :(

Well flights to hawaii are close to $1000.00 a person.... It does rain a lot in Hawaii but it's only for a few minutes then the sun comes out.

If both of yall like cruises then go for it, it is definitely a cheaper option!

We went on a cruise for our first anniversary and our 5th, and I think it's the best way to travel. There's so many benefits! One cruise was the Greek Islands and one was the Caribbean.

I'm another one that wonders about Mexico, though. I love going there - in fact, I've been there more than 20 times - but the violence is starting to infiltrate some tourist areas. And if not violence, the infrastructure is being impacted. Just today, the Playa Riviera Princess had a big gas explosion killing a bunch of tourists. It was gas from a nearby swamp, so it doesn't appear to be a gang issue, but the country just is not safe or well run right now.

I would check into the Caribbean. Those cruises are fun because each island is so unique and they are all gorgeous.

I would love to for a honeymoon, they're so relaxing and nice!

I'll probably be going on one to the Bahamas in May with my boyfriend (not a honeymoon of course), and can't wait! It's a great choice for a honeymoon!

I think that is the best honeymoon for your money, especially if you are on a budget. Everything is included and it is romantic and fun at the same time!! Enjoy!!!!!

I went on a Mexican cruise for my 1st honeymoon. We have a great time on Carnival. The good thing about it was that the ship was like a small town with a disco, restaurants, casino, shopping and bars. We were able to go on excusions while in port like to the Maya ruins. It was great fun. Best wishes!

Yes, we went on one. We did a 12 Mediterranean cruise with Royal Caribbean. We went to Italy (Rome, Naples/Pompeii), Greece (Mykonos, Rhodes, Athens), Cyprus (Limassol), Turkey (Kusadasi/Ephesus) and Egypt (Alexandria/Cairo). It was the best vacation I've ever been on. Cruising really is the way to go, especially if you have a budget. I think we figured ours to be about $60 (each) a day for our room and all that food!

A Mexican cruise sounds wonderful!

You got a great deal on your cruise, and I am sure you will have a wonderful time!

I honeymooned in Hawaii, and it was pricey...the entire trip cost $10,000.00. See what a deal you got?

So, in total without taxes $798 for 7 days?! Whoa, that's so good! I totally would consider it. We're thinking of going to Hawaii though.

Would I go on a cruise for my honeymoon? No, I would not. Mostly because I'm not a cruise person. I would definitely rather go somewhere and actually spend time doing what I wanted to do rather than be on someone else's schedule.

But I've had plenty of friends who have taken cruises for honeymoons and vacations and have loved them. It's totally a personal travel style preference.

Sure, I would. I know some people have cruise "horror stories" (like those poor people who stuck at sea with nothing but Spam and imitation crab salad recently - I'm sure you read about it), but I've always had a good experience.

We're actually thinking about doing a Mediterranean cruise for our next vacation.
