Would you let dealer to sell your car?

I want to sell my car. I got the call from the dealer who offered to sell it for me for $6,299 (my original price is $5,600). Dealer wants me to pay them $399 ahead. Is this a good deal? Should I do that? Or may be it's much safer to just sell it for original price? What is the guarantee that the dealer will sell the car for indicated price? Would you do that? THanks.
