...stories, or characters? Such as, with my stories, I tend to have a father who you wouldn't want mad at you, and daughters who have a talent for getting them mad. There's always some sort of tragedy that has a major impact on the plot. What are your patterns?

The main one I notice is the one in all my stories where the main character lives a normal life and finds out they have a special power/gift, or they aren't waht they thought they were.
