Yamaha Vmax 2002 - Lowering the Seat? Other Similar Bike?

So... my dad has a Yamaha Vmax 2002 and I've ridden on the back before and im like in lovee with it =) lol Buuut my problem is: im 16 and im only 5"1 and weigh 86 pounds and the bike is 1200cc i think... My dad said he'd buy me a bike for my bday, If i bought a vmax 2002 would i be able to lower the seat to my level? I'd probably need to lower it about 5 inches, would it be possible? If not, are there any other bikes that look like it that i might be able to ride? I am kinda stuck on the vmax though :S
p.s. i live in Ontario, Canada if that helps?
