You'll burn calories with any excess movements. Truly, you could run around the house swinging your arms around and it would be just as effective as any dvd.
hey my mum bought it and i tried it......ehh its nt the best in my opinion but then again its nt my type of thing....im more a walk in the park while listening to my ipod kind of gal. It also seems to go very fast even in the training mode and speaks latin as much as it does english it also requires a good amount of space. I have a aunt that goes to the zumba classes though and she has seen pretty good results. So I say go ahead if you think its your thing otherwise if your not the type that can stay commit ed easily just join a class or some sort of team sport.
