When I start my car it runs fine for a couple of minutes, then the RPM's drop to near 0, and sometimes jumps back up to normal idle speed 700rpm other times it cuts off. It does this anytime it's in idle. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I wish to install an air/fuel gauge and would like to know which wire is the O2 sensor wire on a 1996 Mazda 626 V6? I would like to tap in to the O2 sensor by the firewall and it has 3 wires (2 white and 1 black) I am assuming I would have to use one of the whites, is this correct ?
