I want to use the codec for rendering videos on my Sony Vegas 10, but it won't show up in my codec menu. I read about redirecting the registration, but no instructions on how to do it. This is for DivX and not Xvid (I had found a 64-bit version of it).

I have downloaded a couple of dvd's and they were in the MKV format. I tried to convert them with "Any Video Converter", but they are still not working in my DVD. They work on the PC, but not the DVD. I get a msg that says the dvd does not support this Codec. Do not know what I have done wrong.

Basically, I made a movie in WMM, and when I publish it, the screen turns black. I tried unmuting clips and changing the volume to zero, I tried going into compatibility and unchecking the boxes, but neither work.
