I bought a roast pork loin and the package says to cook it for 35 mins at 450 F. The problem is the the bottom is burning early. I put oil in the bottom of pan and put it on an aluminum cooking pan. What's wrong?

The recipe included with the slow cooker states to the dice veges and place the seasoned roast on top of the veges in cooker. Then add 1/4 cup of beef broth. The broth does even cover the veges entireely and doesn't touch the roast. Is this enough liquid? Do I add more water? How much of the...

I'm trying to do some good roasting of my friend who's into that genre (Slayer, Opeth, etc.). I'm certainly not trying to be clean, and I realize that most of the jokes will involve his sexuality getting bruised, and I'm all for it. Got any?
I have a medium sized pork roast that I'm going to be cooking & I was looking for some really good recipes to make it. It's 2:15 now, I'm looking to have it done by like 5-6pm..so I don't think the slow cooker would work. But does anyone have any recipe ideas? Thanks in advance!!

It is a beef pot roast, and it weighs 2.65 lbs. I have celery, carrots, and small red potatoes to throw in the crock pot with it. I always get impatient and under-cook things, or get worried about under-cooking and burn it. Any help would be wonderful. ^^
Alrighty. Here's the questions:
1) What can I substitute for the Lipton dry soup mix packet? I looked up the ingredients and it's nasty.
2) I have never seen a CAN of beef broth. I always buy them in cartons. How much of a carton will I need for this recipe?
3) I have always cooked pot roast...

...Christians stop threatening atheists? I like tacos, but sometimes I want a burger from McDonald's. At least I don't have to worry about being roasted alive for eternity if I eat a burger though.
